Stamping capabilities of The Langenau Manufacturing Company range from tiny intricate clasps to large complex hinges and full-sheet double reverse corrugations (DRC). Starting with a blueprint for a part, and appropriate specifications, we design and develop the stamping die, select the corect material and width from a substantial inventory of slit sheet metal coils, in a variety of appropriate gages - in numerous types of carbon steels, stainless steel and non-ferous materials.Get Started!
Our highly qualified Engineering staff contributes to the most successful design of all production dies, insuring maximum cost efficiencies during production. From initial part concept, to tool making, our technical staff has the extensive experience in state-of-the-art die technology.
The Langenau Tool & Die Department utilizes the most modem equipment in the production and maintenance of all tooling from precision sharpening equipment and high performance milling to shaping and turning equipment, as well as electrical discharge machining (EDM).
Assembly equipment is designed specifically for fast and economical operation to meet both high and low volume requirements with uniform quality. Optical comparators and other sophisticated gaging devices and techniques insure consistant accuracies of all Langenau operations.
After producing and assembling, the next important step is conditioning the parts surface. Operations can range from deburring, degreasing, picking and solvent cleaning, powdercoating, and plating. Other finishes include protective phosphate or oxide coating and special antique brass or copper.
